Overview
ISTE being a Non-Profit making and one of the largest Autonomous Society focusing to enhance the quality of Technical Education and its allied areas in the Nation at large. ISTE- Gujarat section has taken initiation to identify an Institute (Institutional Member of ISTE) every year from its family in Gujarat and felicitate it for extending the infrastructure facilities with resources of knowledge dissemination to its stake holders & excellence in the areas of Technical Education. The Committee constituted by the Chairman of ISTE Gujarat Section will scrutinize the nominations received by ISTE Gujarat Section through proper channel on or before the due date and finalize the name of the recipient of the Award. The Award will be presented in ISTE State Annual Faculty Convention of the respective year.
Objective Of Award
The Award is an initiative to identify & recognize an Institute having the Best and Effective Knowledge Centre Facility for the benefits of its stake holders. The Overall goal is to encourage the ISTE Institutional Member to extend a pre-requisite facilities in terms of Knowledge Centre (Library) which ultimately enhance the level and quality of education in the areas of Technical Education and allied areas of interest.. ISTE Gujarat Section invites its member institutions to send in their nominations for SHRI PRAVINKAKA RATILAL MANIAR BEST KNOWLEDGE CENTRE (LIBRARY) AWARD for the year.
Scope of this Award
These awards are decided based on the parameters mentioned therein the nomination form.

Who can Apply ?
Only Interested ISTE Institutional Member can apply. The member institute has to apply online.
The ISTE Member Institute must have a separate Knowledge Centre (Library) in its own building. In case, if the University is having a common and central library, the University being separate entity need to have institutional membership.
If not, then the requisite form is to be filled up for institutional membership and required to be sent along with the demand draft of requisite amount as per guidelines of ISTE, New Delhi. Kindly visit www.isteonline.in for more information.
Selection Process
The Award Committee shall scrutinize the applications/nominations and recommend the name of the Institute for SHRI PRAVINKAKA RATILAL MANIAR BEST KNOWLEDGE CENTRE (LIBRARY) AWARD.
Step 1:
• Fill in the form on the website of ISTE Gujarat Section in requisite format availing error-free information, evidential documents in support and credentials in connection to the nomination.
Step 2:
• An Award committee constituted by the Chairman-ISTE Gujarat Section will scrutinize all the submissions of nomination forms, check for the correctness of the data in the nomination form and finalize the name of the member. In case, if need be, the section may ask for availing evidential documents as appropriate to finalize the awardee.
Step 3:
• The ISTE Institutional Member as recommended by the Committee will be honoured with the said Award in ISTE State Annual Faculty Convention of the respective year.
