Overview
ISTE being a Non-Profit making and one of the largest Autonomous Society focusing to enhance the quality of Technical Education and its allied areas in the Nation at large. Every year, ISTE New Delhi felicitates Best Chapter nominated from the State Section during National Faculty Convention. All the award nominations are evaluated based on the nominations received in the same format below. However, award categorization is recommended by the appointed award scrutiny committee at the State Section level. These awards are annual awards. The activities in the thrust areas related to technical education improvement of ISTE, are considered for evaluation and selection from the nomination entries received along with necessary evidential documents.
The best entry is recommended for the National Award and Recognition. The second-best entry is selected for felicitation at State-level during the State Annual Faculty Convention. A Chapter established within 5-years of span from the date of nomination is eligible based on performance reported through the nomination and selected for the award and recognition at the State Annual Faculty Convention.
Objective Of Award
The Award is an initiative to identify & recognize an Institute extending support to its stakeholders to contribute and participate in ISTE dominating activities for their overall development in the areas of Technical Education. The Overall goal is to encourage the ISTE Institutional Member to extend a pre-requisite facilities to its stakeholders and encouraging them to contribute for ISTE which ultimately enhance the level and quality of education in the areas of Technical Education and allied areas of interest. ISTE Gujarat Section invites its member institutions to send in their nominations for all awards in three categories for each of the respective year.
Scope of this Award
These awards are decided based on the parameters mentioned therein the nomination form. (All details provided should be pertaining to the period 1st April–31st March for the Award Year).
Who can Apply ?
Only Interested ISTE Institutional Members (Degree Engineering Institute/Polytechnic of Gujarat) can apply. The member institute has to apply for the same by filling the form below.
Selection Process
The Award Committee will scrutinize the applications/nominations and recommend the name of the Institute for the respective award.
Step 1:
• Fill in the form on the website of ISTE Gujarat Section in requisite format availing error-free information, evidential documents in support and credentials in connection to the nomination.
Step 2:
• An Award committee constituted by the Chairman-ISTE Gujarat Section will scrutinize all the submissions of nomination forms, check for the correctness of the data in the nomination form and finalize the name of the member. In case, if need be, the section may ask for availing evidential documents as appropriate to finalize the awardee.
Step 3:
• The ISTE Institutional Member as recommended by the Committee will be honoured with the said Award in ISTE Annual Convention / ISTE State Annual Faculty Convention of the respective year.
