Greetings from ISTE Tamilnadu Section.
As the pillars of technical education, we all accept that Mathematics is much significant and vital in the field of Engineering. But in current scenario most of the students’ attitude towards this subject is different. Students would consider Maths as a difficult subject and found challenging. So we tried to make students feel easy about the subject by encouraging them to participate and make them to acknowledge the role maths in their technical studies in prominent. So ISTE Tamilnadu Section conducted Mathematical Competition for the last two years to commemorate the great mathematician SrinivasaRamanujan. This competition is conducted for Engineering and Polytechnic College students of Tamilnadu State in a wider perspective to make the young minds to understand the significance of Mathematics. In last two years, more than 25000 students from ISTE Tamilnadu section registered for this competition. This year we planned to conduct the Mathematical Competition in the national level. Our honourable president of ISTE and EC members has kindly consented for the same.
We request you to give wide publicity to this competition in your section to that maximum students register and participate in this programme.
